Welcome

CongregationFINDLAY MEMORIAL CHURCH - simply called "Findlay" is an Independent Evangelical Church meeting in a large building situated near Glasgow's city centre. The Church is set behind a row of tenement flats with an entrance off Clarendon Place (once part of Maryhill Road near St George's Cross). The congregation of about 300 includes people of all ages from all walks of life. We value the links we have with students in the city, and together with our regular members we enjoy worship and ministry. There is a wide range of activities for young and old. We also value the benefits of meeting in Small groups during the week.

The Church was once known as the St George's Cross Tabernacle or "Tab" in the old days. Some older people will still recognise (and still use) the old name. Please have a browse around the Findlay Memorial Church site. Even better, if you are looking for a place for good fellowship, worship, teaching and friendship we would be delighted to meet you at one of our weekend or mid-week activities.

Registering will give access to further content and features, such as downloads and reviews. It also gives registered members the ability to add news and information. REGISTRATION ON THE WEBSITE IS ONLY FOR MEMBERS AND ADHERENTS OF THE CHURCH - Sorry, but if we do not recognise the name or code word you are likely to be declined from site membership.

 News: Holiday Club 2009 3rd - 7th August

Announcements

The Summer Holiday Club takes place this year from 3rd to 7th August 2009. Last year it was fantastic with lots of kids from around the neighbourhood enjoying a fun packed week of song, drama, dance, crafts, Bible teaching and lots of noise. Joseph (He of the tecnicolour dreamcoat fame) was the theme for the week, and as the week progressed the children learned how to trust God in every situation. The cafe was open for the Mums and Dads to chill out while the kids did their stuff.

The following Sunday morning service echoed the theme of the week, as the children demonstrated all they had learned - and didn't they do well?.
